As an assistant account executive (AAE) for the Hispanic Practice, Veronica assists with numerous bilingual media and community relation efforts for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation as well as The CoverMe Foundation. Her responsibilities include drafting and distributing media materials, schedule broadcast interviews, create media briefings, garner media coverage and foster celebrity relationships. In addition, Veronica helps build a network between clients and community-based organizations around the nation.
Veronica also contributes to the Hispanic Practice’s Trends del Mes newsletter, researching trends and developments in the Hispanic consumer market.
Prior to becoming an AAE, Veronica was an Executive Leadership Trainee (ELT) for LAGRANT COMMUNICATIONS where she developed media materials and conducted media outreach in Spanish and English. Veronica initially joined the firm as an intern.
As an advertising representative at her previous position, Veronica sold advertising space for the Daily Trojan. She also aided in the design of advertisements and layout for the newspaper. In addition, Veronica also completed an internship at Cohn & Wolfe where her responsibilities included media support at the Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3).
Veronica received a Bachelor of Arts dual-degree in Communication and Psychology from the University of Southern California. During the spring of 2007, she studied corporate communications abroad in New Zealand where she cemented her desire to pursue a career in the integrated marketing communications field.
During her days off, Veronica enjoys dancing to all types of music. She hopes to one-day vacation in Tahiti.
