As assistant account executive, Tosin manages the City of Los Angeles Department of Public Works account where she works with the department to coordinate community outreach for the Wastewater Collection Systems Projects that includes acting as liaison between the city and community organizations, coordinating community meetings with homeowner associations and schools, and developing advertorial materials.
Tosin also supports the Harley-Davidson Motor Company account for the African American Consumer Market by writing press releases, developing photo captions and pitching story ideas to the media. Additionally, Tosin assists the internship coordinator in the recruitment process by visiting universities, conducting informational presentations and maintaining a database of potential candidates.
Prior to her current position, Tosin was an intern with the firm, conducting research and drafting press materials for the Foundation for Health Coverage Education (FHCE). She also assisted on various other accounts by preparing reports and conducting media outreach.
Tosin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). During her studies at CSUN, she was the vice president of the African Student Organization. She was also a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and National Society for Leadership and Success (Sigma Alpha Pi). Prior to transferring to CSUN, Tosin attended Santa Monica College where she received an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Studies.
