HILTON HOTELS CORPORATION TO RECEIVE MINORITIES IN BUSINESS
“CORPORATE DIVERSITY LEADERSHIP” AWARD

–Hilton Hotels Corporation today announced it has
been selected to receive the 2003 Minorities in Business
Magazine “Corporate Diversity Leadership” Award.
The 8th Annual Multicultural Prism Awards ceremony will
highlight the achievements of entrepreneurs, corporations,
or corporate executives for their work in the multicultural
community.
Hilton is being recognized for its efforts
to cultivate and maintain a company committed to diversity
principles and practices. From its president and chief executive
officer, Stephen F. Bollenbach, to all the team members
at Hilton Family hotels nationwide, Hilton invests key resources
to ensure that its employees, suppliers and hotel owners
reflect the composition of the communities in which they
serve.

The Hilton Diversity Council, headed by
Bollenbach, consists of senior management from all areas

franchising/hotel ownership, advertising, marketing, and
community support.
This year’s Prism Awards Gala will
be held on October 17 at the Regent Beverly Wilshire in
Beverly Hills. The program will be recorded for broadcast
on TV One, the newly formed cable network created by Radio
One and Comcast. Past award recipients have included: Ford
Motor Company. Sempra Energy, Pepsi Cola, The Boeing Company,
General Motors, Raytheon, Burger King, American Honda Motor
Company, Toyota Motor Sales, Sprint, and Continental Airlines.
