As an account executive for the Hispanic Practice, Veronica handles the day-to-day account responsibilities for The CoverMe Foundation and supports numerous bilingual media and community relation efforts for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. Her responsibilities include executing national media tours on behalf of clients, drafting and distributing media materials, scheduling broadcast interviews, creating media briefings, garnering media coverage and fostering celebrity relationships. In addition, Veronica helps build a network between clients and other organizations in order to disseminate information to constituents and connect community members to local community resources across the 50 states.
Veronica also manages the firm’s internship program and contributes to the Hispanic Practice’s Trends del Mes newsletter, researching trends and developments in the Hispanic consumer market.
Prior to becoming an account executive, Veronica was an assistant account executive for the Hispanic Practice. She initially joined the firm as an intern before becoming an Executive Leadership Trainee where she developed media materials and conducted bilingual media outreach.
Previously, Veronica completed an internship at Cohn & Wolfe where her responsibilities included media relations and support at the Entertainment Software Association’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). In addition, Veronica has experience with advertising sales acting as advertising representative for the University of Southern California’s Daily Trojan. She also aided in the design of advertisements and layout for the newspaper.
Veronica received a Bachelor of Arts dual-degree in Communication and Psychology from the University of Southern California. She studied corporate communications abroad in New Zealand where she cemented her desire to pursue a career in the integrated marketing communications field.
During her days off, Veronica enjoys dancing, relaxing at the beach and spending time with her family. She hopes to one-day vacation in Thailand. |
