As a senior counselor to the Hispanic Practice, Paulo assists the team by providing a thorough understanding of the Hispanic consumer market, media relations and research capabilities. Paulo brings 15 years of extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry and uses his knowledge and skills to ensure quality service to clients and company employees.

His business experience encompasses operations development and new business development, as well as expansion in the travel and tourism industry. In addition, he has comprehensive training in hotel operations and customer service.

His professional background reflects his wide-ranging abilities. As an employee for Best Western Gateway Hotel in Santa Monica, he was in charge of accommodating guests where his customer service expertise and problem solving skills ensured high customer satisfaction. At the Charter at Beaver Creek in Avon, Colorado, his job consisted of assisting with sales and reservations, and accommodating the needs and requests of condominium owners and hotel guests.

For nine years, Paulo served as customer service director for United Airlines in the Sao Paulo International Airport, Brazil. His tasks supported the company's core objectives: schedule, reliability, customer satisfaction and profitability. Aside from those responsibilities, he coached and monitored employee performance.

Within the same company, he previously held the title of customer service agent and was in charge of assisting passengers with the check-in process, ticketing and baggage services.

Paulo holds a bachelor's degree in geography from the Sao Paulo University of Philosophy, Letters of Arts and Human Science, Brazil. He is currently attending California State University, Long Beach where he is working towards a Master of Fine Arts degree in Costume Design.

His education consists of a number of additional courses such as United Leaders Orientation, Communication Skills/Managing Emotional Behavior, Facilitate Leadership Training and Issue Resolution and Problem Solving with emphasis on Coaching Skills.

A native of Brazil, Paulo is fluent in English and Portuguese and has conversational abilities in Spanish. Paulo's love and interest for traveling have led him to visit five of the world's seven continents.
